I buy ice cream that is made with real cream. The sugar is lower. Here in. Canada I usually buy either Chapmans or Breyers. They are both made with real cream. Iced milk has to much sugar in it.

Homemade Ice Cream
Making your own ice cream gives you complete control over ingredients. A DiabetesTeam member shared that her husband makes ice cream using Xylitol (a sugar substitute), evaporated milk, and vanilla. She described it as "such a treat!"
Sugar-Free Frozen Treats
Sugar-free frozen pudding is a popular alternative. One member mentioned that frozen sugar-free chocolate pudding has only 70 calories and 1.5 grams of carbs. Some members freeze pudding into popsicles for a "Fudgsicle-like" dessert.
Portion Control Strategy
To avoid overeating, one member suggested making only enough for a small serving. "That way, you only have one portion and no leftovers."
Important Tips
When choosing ice cream alternatives, look for options that use sugar substitutes like xylitol, stevia, or monk fruit. Always check the carbohydrate content and work with your doctor or dietitian to ensure any treats fit within your meal plan.
