Why do glucose readings differ between fingers?
It's completely normal to see different glucose readings when testing different fingers. The main reason is blood flow variation. Your dominant hand typically has better circulation than your non-dominant hand, which can lead to slightly different readings.

Good morning Geralyn
It’s very easy for me as I don’t have to choose.
I cannot get a drop of blood out of my dominant right hand, so I always use my left hand, which produces a strong flow of blood.
I haven’t ever tested 2 different fingers on the same hand, at the same time, but Henry @A DiabetesTeam Member has experience in this and has advised that one could even receive different readings from different blood drops in the same finger.
Wishing you a very pleasant day 🤗

@A DiabetesTeam Member I'm curious about many things, Geralyn. I choose not to focus on the ins and outs of my condition. I try not to make diabetes an avocation. I'm stuck with it. That's enough. I do my best with my diet and exercise and the rest is out of my hands which is good because it gives me the rest of the time to focus on the positive things in life.
Learned that it depends upon one's circulation. The dominant side's blood flows better so the GL are "lower" on that side. I think you have it backwards. Could be wrong but my body shows the exact opposite of what you say.
