Members strongly cautioned against non-invasive blood sugar monitors advertised online, emphasizing that these devices have not been approved by any regulatory body worldwide and are dangerously inaccurate for treatment decisions. Several members recommended prescription CGMs like Dexcom or Libre as safer, proven alternatives to finger sticks, sharing positive experiences using these devices over multiple years. A recurring challenge was that some countries only provide CGM coverage for Type 1 diabetes, leaving Type 2 members without access to these helpful tools.

They are advertised everywhere. Snake oil. They have NOT been approved by any country in the world. They are so inaccurate.

Do not risk your life by using them for treatment decisions.

DEATH sucks more than fingersticks or a cgm.

You have received VERY good information @A DiabetesTeam Member...

If you are trying to avoid finger sticking then Libre or Dexcom are the way to go..
I have used both of them over a period of 7 years and highly recommend either one of them.

Just a gimmick @Rubynaidvoodamail. They shouldn't be allowed to advertise them. As @A DiabetesTeam Member said death sucks more than a finger stick, or a cgm.
