Thank you for responding Victor.
I think that an Ophthalmic Surgeon would be more informed. 🤗

@A DiabetesTeam Member. Good advice

My wife had gestational diabetes when she was pregnant with our twins and then 10 years later she got breast cancer at 38. The chemo activated her diabetes again and this time she had a real bad time with it. 17 years later she has retired from work but was having issues with her eyes. She goes to an eye specialist who has been doing injections in her eyes to help with the issues she is having. She was told that if was from her diabetes not being under control. Now she has it under control and her eyes are improving with the injections. My advice to you is go see an eye specialist to get your eyes thoroughly checked. It will save you eyesight!

Hello Victor 🇿🇦

I’m sorry that you’re struggling and obviously very worried about your eyes, which you should be.

I’ve read that you’ve had your retinas checked, which is good.
I don’t know whether you saw an Ophthalmic Surgeon or an Opthamologist, but I’d suggest that you go back, as the problem has not been resolved.
You might be suffering from dry eyes or any other eye condition, not related to diabetes, which needs to be attended to.
I would do that urgently, if it were me.
Please consider that. Take care. Lorna 🇿🇦💕
