I have been doing better at getting my before meal # down but eating my biggest meal after 2 hours I am usually 14. Trying to get that down without feeling too hungry.

Count your carbs, then slowly half them.

If still too high, half them again.

Find your carb tolerance.

Baby steps.

My readings after dinner are normally low to mid 6’s
I do all the cooking and have high protein high good fats and tonnes of vegetables
Fills me up and does not impact numbers much
My carb and sugar intake is minimal and there are many ways to ensure the body does not miss them

O take reading every morning. After a large meal may be a good walk or more family gathering. Usually an activity so I wait till my morning reading. Sometime high for me like 7.5
