While some discomfort after eye injections is normal, experiencing severe symptoms like being "basically blind" for 3 days and significant pain is concerning and should be discussed with your doctor immediately.

Typical side effects include:
- Mild eye irritation
- Small blood spots where injection occurred
- Feeling like something is in your eye You should contact your doctor right away if you experience:
- Significant vision problems
- Severe pain or discomfort
- Increased light sensitivity
- Lots of floaters in your vision

Your follow-up appointments are important for monitoring how well the treatment is working and checking for complications. Most people can return to their normal routine shortly after injections, so having prolonged severe symptoms isn't typical.
