Members shared diverse approaches to managing diabetic neuropathy tingles, with many recommending medications like Gabapentin or Lyrica to help block nerve signals, while others found relief through circulation-boosting methods such as warm water soaks, foot massages, heating pads, and daily foot spa treatments with water jets. Several members emphasized the critical importance of daily foot monitoring and staying active through walking and exercises like toe raises, with powerful personal stories including amputations serving as urgent reminders of why vigilant diabetes management matters. A recurring theme was finding what works for your body, whether through medical devices like TENS machines, natural remedies, or simply staying as active as possible despite the daily struggle.

I use a foot spa to help get oxygenated blood flow to the feet. It has water jets, I soak my feet daily.

I try my best to exercise everyday. Walking, toe raises and squats. Some days it's a struggle but I try.

Hi CarlosPapaBearDelCampo, managing your diabetic neuropathy is extremely important. Of course, we must consult with our doctor. Also, something simple: monitor your feet regularly, really daily. It's not a choice, it is a necessity!!! My family member just had her foot amputated. I am still trying to grasp how difficult a decision it was and the emotional struggle she encountered. But I see that this allows me to tell all of us to pay close attention to your body, especially your feet, hands, legs, and arms. Diabetes is not a heavyweight fighter that hits you with one punch and knocks you out. Instead, he hits you, jabs you, and keeps at you until finally, your body starts to weaken over time. LET US DO WHAT WE CAN TO MANAGE OUR DIABETES!
