Hi tom. I've been struggling for quite some time with my weight and
getting depressed at seeing again every time I got on the scale. My dr.just
gave me Ozempic which made me sick for a few days but I'm feeling better
now.

Ozempic is the top rated drug for the Treatment of Type 2

It controls blood sugar as good as or better than anything else on the market except insulin with almost a non-existent chance of causing dangerously low blood sugar

It provide Cardio-Vascular protection - 80% of Type 2's die from this, so lowering the risk is a good thing

It slows down any existing kidney disease from getting worse (which kills another 15% of us)

And most users lose weight - getting to normal weight reduces insulin resistance which is generally the biggest problem Type 2's have to deal with - another win

So a drug that does all that and helps prevent heart/kidney disease, stops you from going blind, having limbs amputated, or developing vascular dementia;

unless you can manage "without meds" there isn't a single reason Not to take this - because if you need meds and "don't take them" then the complications show up quickly

If you read up on the scary side effects remember to compare them to the side effects that "will happen" if you don't take it

Based on research data from DiabetesTeam members using GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, many people have varying experiences. Common side effects that members report include gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal pain. Some also experience injection site reactions such as skin discoloration and swelling. It's worth noting that continuation rates vary among users. Studies show that about 35% of people with type 2 diabetes stop taking GLP-1 medications within the first year. The main reasons for discontinuation include difficulty tolerating digestive side effects and medication costs. However, many who stop treatment (about 47%) end up restarting within a year, often after noticing weight regain.
