For best hydration 100-150 oz (3-5 litres) water daily is current wisdom.
Do you have CKD or other issues limiting your water intake.
I feel lightheaded whenever my blood glucose numbers go low. A high blood glucose number could also do that.
Do you have positional syncope. Unless I move slowly in measured amounts, I can pass out moving from prone to sitting. Or from sitting to standing. When things start to go black, I return to the previous position and I can see again.
If I miss a meal, I can run out of fuel and go lightheaded. I need to snack immediately or I begin to pass out.
Good luck in sorting things out.
You are welcome
Hoc, I am not aware of any limitation for drinking water. I try to drink 20 oz when I get up, 20 oz each time I eat, and more throughout the day. The doctors did say a positional syncope. Sometimes I pass out during/ after getting injections. I have not had issues in changing positions, just happens when sitting down. I haven’t had any low sugar incidents in several months. I do have some high event after eating. My blood pressure was 100/40 for 6 hours this last event. Thanks for the information
Brahman I measure my blood pressure everyday. I have passed out and admitted to hospital 8 times. No cause gas been found. This last time the doctor recommended to stop taking jardiance. I have had 2 echocardiogram’s performed, wore a heart monitor twice, had a brain mri performed, stopped taking cakstraten. Usually only pass out while sitting. Blood sugar has been 139 or higher. Current sic is 6.3. Having neurological scan next week. Recommended to get a loop monitor installed. Recommended to wear compression socks and drink 60 oz of water daily

Your diabetic meds should not be effecting your blood pressure, none of them work on the circulatory system at all
But your combination of meds can result in Low Blood "Sugar" which if low enough can cause dizziness, light headedness and even loss of consciousness if it gets too low
Did you measure your blood pressure or just assumed since that is the typical symptoms of low BP??
