Hi Lisa49...First of all find a doctor Kidney specialist ( Nephrologist ).
About the water everyone is different and every doctor have their own opinions, always listen carefully or you can do your own research.
In my husband and mine having both chronic kidney disease we chose to drink at least between 60 to 100 ozs daily of Smart Water with lemon πŸ‹ and lime daily for about 10 years.
Now we drink mineral water about 48 to 60 ozs daily without the lemon and the lime ( not because we don't like it, but to rest for awhile ).
Have a blessed day πŸ™.

Hi WhiteWolf... thank you for the information. It's absolutely the truth. My husband is going to Frenesius kidney dialysis. that's why we went down on the amount of water.
And yes different diets for different diseases...specially when you have high potassium be aware that all of the vegetables have lots of potassium and fruits too.
Only all the fruits finishing in berries can be eaten and count the amount of fruits and if you like spinach like I do ... I eat Spanakopita and do them in the oven.
Just like having hypothyroidism it's another diet...I have to be very careful of what I eat, how, when and calculate the days so I don't repeat myself.
Have a blessed night ✨️

Could your primary care physician refer you to one? A Nephrologist could greatly benefit you.

32 ounces is the recommendation. Do you have a kidney doctor? They can tell you the guidelines better.
