Members shared mixed experiences with cinnamon for blood sugar control, with one member reporting only a modest 2-3 point reduction using Ceylon cinnamon at therapeutic doses, while others found no noticeable benefit at all. Several members discussed chromium picolinate supplements as a helpful alternative, with reports of 3-5 point reductions in blood sugar levels, and one member explained that many people with type 2 diabetes are deficient in chromium, which can improve insulin resistance, particularly during weight loss. A recurring theme was cautious optimism about natural supplements like cinnamon, berberine, and apple cider vinegar, with members appreciating any small improvements while recognizing these options work differently for everyone and may offer benefits beyond blood sugar control alone.

Thanks Sally, that's been my experience also. I still use it though because it's said to have other benefits and the powder does taste good in coffee and on oatmeal.😎

Ceylon cinnamon at the therapeutic dosage of 1-5 gm only makes a difference of 2-3 points usa for me.

You might be different.
Cassia cinnamon starts being untolerable at 1 gm per day.

Yes, they always "could" as if they're wary of committing. Thank you.
