Just check your reaction - a teaspoon of honey is better for you "nutritionally" but it's still about the same 4 carbs as cane sugar, table sugar, molasses and that's what your Diabetes cares about
If you count it as "a carb" if counting your total intake of carbs, then it's no problem
I do raw local honey 3 days weekly to ease allergies.

I have a. Bottle of honey, to which I've added about 4 table spoons of cinamon. Like a pre mix for my coffee
I try to stay away from all forms of sugar except Steva sweetener. Try Steva sweetener. It has no sugar. Sandra340
