I've tried the Vick's for neuropathy. It does help because of the menthol. But the swelling sounds like poor circulation. Please consult your health care provider.

I agree with Joanne, definitely consult your MD. Believe it or not, my mother, who had terrible neuropathy, used Vicks on her feet and lower legs to soothe the discomfort. For her, it worked.

First of all, does your doc know about this? Are your BS high? Have you checked your feet for sores or ulcers? Anyway here are other things you might try. You could get some compression socks, you could try Tumeric for inflammation, you could also try capsaicin cream. I would see a doc first. You may have other things going on.
