There are also chair exercises. any movement helps and I used chair exercises when I had an injury to a leg and had to mostly sit for a couple of months.

Yes I will, I knew a lady (She passed this year) well into her 90's who 2x a week went to the pool for exercises etc.. She had knee replacements which is why she went. I had forgotten that she had done that until you reminded me. Thank you.

@Teresa714 hello I also did aqua therapy in the warm pool after I had Pneumonia in 2017 and I was very weak as it took me 6 months to get the inflammation out of my lungs and airways and I was very weak.

I’m recovering from a dreadful trip fall on 17th March when I was thrown backwards against my bathroom door trim in the bathroom door frame, hitting my left ribs and my shoulder blade- Scapula and then I dropped straight down onto my backside and I had 10 fractured bones in my left ribs and my spine (also I have a broken rib in my left ribs) and something pierced my left lung so a drainage tube was inserted into my chest cavity to drain the fluid out over several days. Daily blood tests are XRays for several days and Oxygen was given to me by tubes in my nose until the hole closed and the tube was removed.

Landing heavily on the tiled floor caused a bleeding internally and it continued to spread for several days and my Iron levels and blood Haemoglobin have dropped dramatically.

Hopefully I am on the mend now and I am walking easier now without getting short of breath or too tired. I day 1.1 k second day 2.2 k and 3rd day was great at 3.8kilometres which is my best distance in April.

Previously I walked an average of 2.8 kilometres per day for 26 weeks prior to my fall and it has helped my recovery from the fall and I take my 4 wheeler walker (Rollator) with me for stability

Hugs from Judyxx
