Hi Yes I also get the poking needles as well as the feet feel cold.For the last 2 years the sugar has been controlled,the itching is off and on especially at the bottom of the legs,it comes and goes.

Itching like that is a sign of peripheral neuropathy.Do your feet feel as tho you are wearing wrinkled sox? Sure sign of neuropathy- result of high bs for prolonged period.

I do! I never attributed it to my diabetes though. It's not very often I have it but when I do it's pretty intense. I just scratch. I never tried anti-itch cream but I may next time.
