I personally (if I needed it) would ask about the Cymbalta

It's a serotonin effecting drug - so get a "natural happy high" and if you have to take a med for "something else" why not go for the added benefit 😁

Thank you Graham. I have tried the Lyrica,horrible side effects. I will talk to my provider about one of the other options.

If you need actual pain meds then Pregabalin (Lyrica) is the other main non-opiod option

Duloxetine (Cymbalta) an SSRI med also improves depression/anxiety as well as relief of diabetic neuropathy pain

Other meds that "might" be an option include

Amitriptyline (Elavil)
Phenytoin (Epanutin)

But all of these may have side effects - they are "lab created" and don't "belong" in our bodies so some will never be able to handle the side effects
