Hi @A DiabetesTeam Member,
My uric acid levels have been at, .1 above, or .1 below the value doctors use to say you are having a gout attack, since I was 19. I have avoided the foods we have been told to avoid. I am over 70 years young now.

When I was diagnosed with diabetes in February 2021, I began an ultralow carb right eating lifestyle. I eat to my meter to the nondiabetic range of 4.0(72) to 7.8(140). No gout symptoms since beginning this right eating lifestyle for me. My uric acid levels are always .1-.2 points below the active gout attack level now.

Good luck. Praying for you.
