Hi Loraine, I got mine from Medic alert S.A that was way back in 2000,im allergic to penicillin. Only became diabetic later. By purchasing one from them one has to pay a yearly subscription fee as well which is not much and you will be on their data base with all your relevant information. Tc

Contact your local hospital and ask them if they offer free medical ID bracelets. If they don't, ask if they know of any medical foundations in the area that provide these bracelets for free.
