Diabetes is a game changer. It has made me realize that life is precious, compliance is the best form of staying healthy and accountability to oneself, team and your Healthcare professional is the great toolkit. Diabetes to me has also helped in checking my overall health well-being. It brought.e closer to those loved ones and the community I lived with at social environment as well as academic and professional. It was painful at beginning, me being afraid of all other after effects like blindness, amputation, mental health and depression. In the 10 years of living with diabetes I found out the importance of the quality of life.
