If you were Type 1 you would be at a slightly elevated risk because like Type 1 it is an Auto-Immune disorder

But there is no connection between Type 2 and Vitiligo. There is other skin disorders that are caused by Type 2 that may look similar but are caused by capillary damage (blood vessels) due to high blood sugar

Vitiligo is an auto-immune disorder with nothing to do with sugar levels or vascular damage
