Hi Deon. The reason may be related to your blood sugar level. If your levels are too high, you tend to get thirsty and your mouth will go dry because you are not drinking. You may be taking another medicine that could cause dryness of the mouth, so look at all the medicines you take and make sure you know the side effects. Ask the doctor if you are not sure. My advice is to make sure you are drinking enough water in the day and test your sugar to make sure it is running an around normal levels.
