Diabetes Is Having A Negative Impact On My Libido And I Am Not Sure If My Wife Will Understand. With All The Effects Of The Medicine.
I get treated for Diabetes, with Insulin and Oral medication, as well as for Cholesterol, Hypertension and Depression.
Dysfunction is a common complication of long term diabetes particularly if it has been not strictly controlled
By the time you notice the problem the vascular damage that caused it typically too far gone to completely correct
Best to talk to your doctor about options - some of the ED meds "may help" - getting a total grip on your blood sugar levels will help prevent it from getting worse
Andrew,
Reverse your thinking. Your wife may have menopausal issues she’s afraid to discuss with you.
Quid-pro-quo….
Thanks. I will check with my GP as well as the Specialist treating me for my Diabetes.
I assume that the damage is already done.
I have been on insulin for about two years now, as the normal oral treatment was not effective anymore, with my blood sugar levels being out of control.
Treatment for ED is very personal and I have previously tried even Testosterone Treatment, with no improvement in test results.
When I get the courage I will seek professional treatment.
Enjoy your weekend.
