I'm newly diagnosed (month) with type 2 diabetes. My sugar levels are always between 10 / 22. It don't want to drop lower than 10.the insulin and metformin don't seem to help? I will take any advice and recipes to control it.
It sounds like you are really eating the wrong stuff and not taking enough insulin or simply not taking enough insulin
You need to talk to your doctor "as soon as possible" and get your insulin dosages adjusted - you are doing significant damage to your system every day your blood sugar stays over 10
It needs to drop below 10.my doctor said it needs to be between 4/6 before I eat and 8/10 after I eat however ever since I have been diagnosed it's not gone lower that 10.i am on metformin and 2 different insulin.
You don't want to "drop below 10" - is that correct
If so you need to learn a bit more about this disease - you should aim to "never EXCEED 10"
And if you are on insulin you are not taking enough - you should get into your Doctor and get things sorted out
