Jardiance works by forcing the kidneys to suck sugar and salt out of the blood but is primarily designed to deal with the sugar that gets into your system from what you ate

It runs about 600'ish bucks a month (full retail)

Metformin is considered a Tier 1 drug - the first one you should be put on

Jardiance is a Tier 2 or 3 drug which is "added" to metformin (or added as a third drug along with metformin and ozempic etc)
