I changed my diet in 2011 to be closer to an ancestral diet (veg & meat). I resolved T2 diabetes in 3 days - but I have to continue eating a human appropriate diet or the diabetes would return. I resolved 12 health issues in a year. I shed 99.5 lbs. in a year with no effort. I have not been sick AT ALL (colds, viruses, allergies) in over 11 years. I became certified as a health coach and educate others on how to halt, reverse and resolved chronic health issues of the body AND mind. T2 diabetes should not exist! This is not a 30 day cleanse or 18 day detox - it is a permanent diet change closer to what humans have been eating for 100s of thousands of years.

I mostly eat only good carbs, avoid white flour, white sugar and white rice.

Vegies and meat diet. Drink lots of water. No juice, soda, coffee, or chocolate. Have had herbal tea with pinch of monk fruit for sweetner. Pure monk fruit. None of the mixture junk. Have been losing weight steadily with no effort. Gone from 220 to 193 in last 6 months. Am also gluten and yeast intolerant. Cholesterol was high but back in normal range. Was very confused and overwhelmed at first but now starting to figure out what works for me.

Started to exercise 4 times a week for 45 minutes...it's like a dose of insulin! Working with a Diabetic Educator to learn about basic nutrition and portion sizes. Numbers are going down without insulin!

Low Carb Diet - Low Carb/High Fat - LCHF in my case (max 130 carbs/day)

Keeps my A1C well below 6 without any meds

While you can "exercise away" excess sugar and calories for that matter it is far more simple to not put them in your mouth in the first place - that method is 100% effective
