Does taking 2 (1500 mg ) turmeric gummies help with blood sugar control? Can this be taken long term? Can it be taken with apple cider vinegar? Is turmeric also good for inflammation?

Members shared mixed experiences with turmeric for blood sugar control, with most reporting no noticeable changes in their numbers, though several noted it helped with inflammation and joint stiffness. Several members recommended choosing capsules over gummies to avoid added sugar and suggested diluting apple cider vinegar if taken together, while others cautioned that turmeric can cause significant stomach discomfort for some people. A recurring theme was the importance of choosing the right form (capsules, spice in cooking, or golden milk) and being mindful of individual tolerance, with most members concluding it's worth trying for inflammation but not a reliable tool for blood sugar management.

I take 3 500mg caps every morning and I have for about ten years. It greatly helps with inflammation. I have not found it significantly helpful for blood sugar control. I get mine from Botanic Choice. Other types have not worked as well.

I use tumeric when cooking rice to give it a golden/yellow color.
I do take tumeric capsule daily for joint stiffness, did not see any change in BS.
