I started getting these last summer!! I am supposed to go see a Dermatologist but I am waiting till Spring so hopefully I will have a vehicle by then...

To me it looks like a form of psoriasis, but I am not a doctor. As a diabetic any skin condition can worsen and cause other issues. I can tell you it is probably not CELLULITIS at this point YET, but untreated psoriasis can lead to cellulitis, therefore it would be better to see someone now to prevent this from worsening and developing cellulitis or other health issues which psoriasis can lead to.

Complications of cellulitis can be very serious. These can include extensive tissue damage and tissue death (gangrene). If you cannot see a dermatologist before spring you might want to see a pharmacist who can maybe advise you or refer you to someone who can help out. Any skin inflamation as a diabetic needs to be treated ASAP, it might be something benign but better have it checked out to be sure.
I am sorry if this seems harsh or frightening, but as a now retired nurse who treated diabetic wounds and saw people lose 1 limb after another, or get cellulitis which is an infection which can become systemic and land you in hospital and even ICU, I recommend treating this ASAP before it becomes something else. Psoriasis is a treatable conditon, please do not wait till spring to be treated, the sooner you treat the better the outcomes.
