My Diabetic doctor tells me no more than 60 per meal...15 per snack. My GP that diagnosed me as pre-diabetic did not want me to eat more than 60 carbs Per DAY! I found that almost impossible to do. I have a friend who has been diabetic for decades...she eats what she wants, but limits the amount. Diabetes is hard and confusing as you could possibly eat the same meal 2 or 3 times and get a different sugar level each time. I gave up sugar, limited my intake of potatoes and bread, but other than that...I pretty much eat what I want, but limit myself to one helping. I watch a lot of videos on youtube about diabetes...there is an endless supply of knowledge there. Mostly I have learned in the past 5 years that you just have to keep trying and find what works for you. Good Luck
