I Have Recently Experienced A Dramatic Drop In My Energy

My tiredness is extreme. Working I find myself squatting and out of breath for several m8nutes. It last 2 hrs but sometimes all day. Shopping I can walk 50ft or less and have to sit down to catch my breath or take a break from walking. My Dr told me that my vitamin D was low,could that be the cause ? @A DiabetesTeam Member if the Doc has actually noted a Vitamin D deficiency then yes, that is one of the leading causes of Chronic Fatigue.

My Wife who had low Vitamin D (a good few years back) was told by her Neurologist to add 1000 mg of it a Day (just over the counter vitamins) and it would help. (My Wife believes it helped - subjective opinion).

But the fatigue you are describing sound significantly more than a simple vitamin deficiency (and I'm not medically trained, but if you can't walk 50 feet without getting winded it sounds like something is really up) and I would be asking the Doc for a referral to someone else who will investigate other possible causes.
