There is "diabetic" versions - just have to look for them at the drug store or places like Walmart that have a diabetes section.

When I was on my weight loss program after getting diagnosed I replaced one meal a day with "Boost Diabetic" shakes (a Nestle product).

Another option is the "Glucerna" line made by Abbot (the Freestyle Libre company) and in the past couple of years the Atkins (shake) which is super low carb (4 carbs I think) has hit the market.

All of them are formulated with a truckload of vitamins/minerals/trace elements so like taking a multi-vitamin every time while making you feel full enough that it feels like you at a full meal.

But do check the labels. At least in the case of the Boost they have a few different formula's and only the "diabetic" is blood sugar friendly.
