I'm motivated today by waking up and praising God 💕🙏 for giving me another day of light and joy for me and my family/friends. I feel wonderful, encouraging and helpful to all. I can encourage others to feel better about themselves by listening to them, give empathy if needed, a hug, a smile 😊, not negative advice, pray 🙏 for them and give them information or resources for what is needed like shelter, finances or job. We must get to their level to help or assist others but first listen before speaking. Ask yourself, are you helping or hurting this person before you speak?

People on this site are "honest real people" they have no need to be anything other than their real selves. I am honest and up front with everyone, if I'm having a bad day for whatever reason I say I'm having a bad day, there's no need to put a false front on. Life isn't all about diabetes, we all have other health issues too, my type2 rarely varies so why chat about the same thing every time when it rarely alters. There is so much more to our daily lives!

The answer to this question is why i like this site so much . The people on here are real just like me. They are upbeat some days about their victories and other days down and need to vent. Friends sharing a journey learning as we go. That is what encourages and motivates me and hopefully i can do the same for others. There is so much good in this life.

Today, I motivated to do all things through Christ who strengthen me, I got plenty of sleep last night, no pain praise God, support from my husband and friend, my church family, my siblings and in laws are amazing to us and my coworkers give of their time to check on me through phone calls, hugs and prayers and asking do I need anything during this time of my mom's passing. My Mom is now my Angel watching over us. I encourage others feel your emotions, but talk about with those who love you or understand and will give you empathy but share good memories together. It's going to get better in time but for now I'm here with you for as long as you need me.
Happy October Everyone with new blessings and joys 🙏🌺.

Hello Judy and Elmo 😊, I have just returned home at 2:45am from a Lounge with my sisters, niece, cousins and friends. I have enjoyed myself. Now I'm ready for sleep 😴 at 3:20am. Family and friends are everything to me.
Hugs from Iola 😊💖
