Diabetes And Kidney Stones

A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭
Johannesburg, ZA

Hi, I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes since July 2020. Initially I was put onto Metformin 850 twice a day and more recently the Dr has added diaglucide.

Im not sure if it is a contributing factor to me getting kidney stones so often. I have had them twice in a space of 1 year.

Has anyone experience the same issue l, if so how did you manage it so it does not become a recurring annual thing to go through?
