Members offered supportive guidance to someone newly diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and cubital tunnel syndrome while managing pressure sores. Several members shared practical strategies including weight loss, healthier eating, controlling cholesterol and blood sugar, anti-inflammatory gels like Flexiseq for elbow pain, protective padding or plasters to prevent pressure sores, and soaking feet in hot water with Epsom salts and antiseptic. A recurring theme was empathy for the frustration of limited mobility during healing, paired with encouragement to protect the liver through hydration, supplements like Hepaguard, and lifestyle changes that feel overwhelming but are worth pursuing step by step.

Hi Temi. I am having difficulty keeping this reply intact to send, fourth try now!
NAFL seldom has symptoms.Tummy pain, weakness and feeling tired may be evident. There are no meds for it.Things that increase risk are overweight, diabetes, high >blood pressure, high cholesterol. So ways to cure it are, lose weight, healthy diet, more activity, control diabetes, lower cholesterol and protect your liver. All of which are very easy!lol.
Lower levels of vits B12,and B9 as well as potassium are implicated too.
Treatment for cubital tunnel are the same.Painkillers, rest affected elbow and a physical support could help.Surgery is a last resort. Both conditions may get better on their own

I’m going to wound care higher than a podoatrist. So far it’s regressed twice in six weeks. I don’t know what else to do. They want me bedridden which can’t happen since I need to use the facilities. Ugh! Hugs 🤗

Check at your local pharmacy, I cannot remember the name but there is a kind of plaster you can use to avoid the sores. We used it on our feet while flamenco dancing without socks. It worked great.
