Most yoghurts are high in sugar. That's what gives them their
thickness and flavour. Look for ones with no sugar added (but they do have artificial sweeteners), or buy natural yogurt and, if necessary, flavour it with Stevia. Try to avoid fruit juice as a sweetener as it is high in sugar.
My cardiologist told me that inherited diabetes is not food eaten. It's inherited so not to let it stress me.
While stress can make diabetes worse, It isn't the cause. That's wishful thinking. Sticking your head in the sand isn't going to make it go away. You need to make changes now if you want to avoid unpleasant consequences. Once you learn what you can and can't eat (and we are all different in that respect), it gets easier. I know those are some big changes and none of us wanted to make them. Start by cutting the sugary drinks. They're loaded with carbs and carbs are a diabetic's enemy. Then back off on breads, rice, pasta, cereal, potatoes and processed foods, Learn about portion size and nutrition labels. Get a glucometer and start tracking your numbers. If it sounds like a lot of work, it is. It does get more routine though and then you don't notice it so much. Take care.
Fried foods are a Nono..
You need to still watch what you eat.
