I have had a lot of headaches for the past six months. I also do not sleep well. the doctor gave me a CPAP to sleep with, but I can't sleep at all with the mask on. Does anyone else suffer with this?
How did you lose the weight, Bashie, and how long did it take you to lose 35 lbs?
I'm diabetic and on insulins and am on a veg diet with a small portion of chicken or fish once a month . No red meat. Weight loss is slow but not steady . I reach a plateau and stay there for weeks on end .
i did but after losing 35 lbs my sleep apnea went away thank g-d.
Please please use your cpap machine! I too refused to use mine several years ago and now I have pulmonary hypertension caused by severe sleep apnea untreated. It just takes time to get used to wearing the mask. There are several different types. Just keep trying.
I just started using a CPAP machine & it took some time getting used to the mask, but now I sleep much much better. Also, my morning BS numbers are down considerably
I got use to my cpap by putting it on and playing on my Kindle or reading for a while before settling down to sleep. It really does make a difference. It's still annoying, but in the long run, I sleep better.
