Members shared their favorite milk alternatives after someone asked what tastes good without spiking blood sugar, with unsweetened almond milk (especially Silk Unsweetened Vanilla) emerging as the most popular choice for use in coffee, cereal, and cooking. Several members highlighted that individual responses vary, with one noting that soy milk works best for them because almond milk spikes their glucose similarly to dairy, while another recommended Kroger CARBmaster Reduced Sugar Nonfat Milk as a lower-carb option. A recurring theme was the relief of finding alternatives that are both gentle on blood sugar and stomach-friendly, with many expressing surprise at how much regular milk had been affecting their levels.
