Cannot cope with pressure of job, being breadwinner and having to cope alone since my divorce 2 and half years ago. I am a type 2 diabetic

It is a lot to cope with on your own, do you have anyone to talk to? A friendly ear does help.

Has your Dr. checked your Ferritin. Low iron is my enemy. It made me feel like I just didn't want to to anything anymore. Mr Dr prescribed Antidepressants . Then decided tos sent me for blood test. I was diagnosed as Profoundly anemic and had to have iron infusions. I am much better now, but have to have blood test every 6 weeks for at least t he next year.

I would suggest seeking out a local support group of divorced men...and/or diabetic group at your local hospital. they do help a lot.

Go to doc get blood test for b12, potassium, calcium, magnesium, your thyroid do you use a cpap machine if not have you been tested for one
