Members shared their experiences with unpredictable blood sugar fluctuations despite consistent routines, with several identifying stress, illness, infection, and pain as common culprits that can cause unexpected swings. Many described a pattern of higher morning readings that drop significantly by afternoon or evening, with one member explaining this as the dawn phenomenon, where the pancreas behaves differently during early hours. A recurring theme was the frustration of not being able to fully control blood sugar despite careful dieting and medication, coupled with encouragement to consult doctors and find support in knowing others face the same daily challenges.

Stress!! I just learned a few months ago that stress plays a large part in my sugar fluctuations. My Sugars soar in the mornings and drop like a stone in the afternoon/evening.
