No. It usually means someone was misdiagnosed as T2, most probably T1.5

Hi, No you will always be type 2 and I use to take 29 pills a day then they added two different types of insulin and I take one type three times a day on a sliding scale and the other at bedtime 60 units. Before they start you please ask them to send you to class for it so you will understand why you are going on it and how to use it. Also be prepared for sugar lows also and please ask all the question you have in class. Be careful with all meds for diabetes as they can be real harsh on you.
