an old friend of mine who had a stroke said limiting your water intake at night was a mistake. So I don't. If I take sleeping aids, which I often do, I don't wake up to urinate much at night. But, my body tells me in subtle ways that I am not getting enough WATER . Notice I said water and not soda or pop or coffee or tea. Caffeinated drinks make me have to go more often and don't hydrate me .

I also am up frequently to urinate at night. Disrupts my sleep which makes me feel tired all the time.

When I told my Dr I was up to 3 times a night she started tests and found out I had sleep apnea. Now with my machine I hardly ever get up to go. She said your body will send any message it can to your brain. So you get up and get more oxygen

I get up twice a night to go but I have to drink a lot because of kidney stones. Jardience makes my mouth dry which does make me drink more.

You are probably having a high blood sugar. Only found out recently that that was what was wrong with me.
