I'm implementing one vegan food at the time and already lowered 4u of insulin, I'm curious if anybody has been successful with it.
Born vegitarian and went vegan LONG before i was told D.
My mom was vegetarian and never on insulin or diabetic medication she was 100% able to control her levels though her diet.
Just make sure you get enough protein......
My mom was Vegetarian and was 100% diet controlled T2 for 40 years of her life without complications from it ... it worked for her and I can't say its helped or hurt me either but I'm not a T2 I'm a T1 so being Vegan isn't effecting being a T1 in general.

@A DiabetesTeam Member So for example for breakfast normally I'd eat eggs, so I found an egg substitute I use that for breakfast, for lunch and dinner I substitute protein meat with vegan meat substitute.
