Members responded to concerns about hunger pains while taking Trulicity by sharing practical strategies to manage appetite without affecting blood sugar levels. Several members suggested drinking plenty of water throughout the day (especially lemon water), eating high-fiber foods like oatmeal and strawberries in small portions paired with protein such as eggs or peanut butter, and understanding that diabetes-related hormones can trigger false hunger signals that don't require a full meal to address. A recurring theme was the importance of portion control with carb-containing foods, staying well-hydrated, and recognizing that a small snack is often enough to stop hunger pains even when blood sugar levels are in a healthy range.

Oatmeal is ok but don't have much of it. About 3/4 of a cup is 15 grams of carbs.Have some protein along with it.Have an egg or stir some peanut butter into your oatmeal for protein.Have a glass of milk as well. :-)

Eating oatmeal (my favorite food) is a great start to the day. I add peaches, or blueberries and walnuts or apple cinnamon with almonds. Good meals and healthy snacks are essential for me!
