This kind of Dr specializes in endocrine disorders. In our case that means diabetes.

What is an endocrinologisr Dr. what do they do

my dr took me off of Actos partially because of the side effects. was taking it with another med. found I never needed the Actos at all as I did just as well without and with it. would tell you the name but I do not know if it is like Actos or not. am sure you and your dr can come up with something-especially if you go to a endocrinologist. good luck!-hugs
