Members responded to someone experiencing a nightly shaking or vibrating sensation throughout their body before sleep, with the overwhelming consensus being that it likely signals low blood sugar that needs immediate attention. Several members shared practical strategies for preventing nighttime lows, including eating a spoonful of peanut butter before bed, keeping glucose tablets nearby, drinking small cans of soda for quick sugar absorption, or having a small snack every few hours. A recurring theme was the importance of checking blood sugar levels immediately when shakiness occurs, as many members described similar symptoms when their glucose dropped into the 79-90 range, sometimes accompanied by confusion or disorientation.
