is the way doom and gloom is thrust at me at every opportunity. BSL too high - you are going to get heart problems and die. ACIC too high? death will be soon. Can't stick to a diet and loose weight - all these factors are going to bring about MAJOR consequences and certain death...etc, etc.

Jensw61 I don't know who is handing u all this stuff. yes IF u don't take care of diabetes it can cause all kind of problems but u need to get educated and learn how to take care of urself. there r many diabetes sites on the internet diabetessite.com, dlife.com, diabeticconnect.com, type2diabetes.com, lifescript,com, americandiabetesassoc.com. make sure u come back and let us know how u r doing good luck and God bless

Don't let it get to you. There is life with diabetes! When I was first dxd, everything I found was negative. I thought it was a death sentence. Then I found some wonderful websites peopled by diabetics. It's so much better to get the info from people who are living with it. We can all help each other get through this, because no matter what you're going through, someone else is going through it too.

yes the complications can be scary but often they happen if u don't respect diabetes. So u need to maintain ur blood sugar levels eat a healthy varied diet with some slow release carbs like wholegrain bread, whole meal pasta and brown rice

Hi, i hate that i have. It and the complications that you can get from it. But have no choice but to live and deal with it.
