Since I was diagnosed with diabetes in February of this year. I have been getting small bumps on my cheek area. Not sure what it is and don't pick at them. They don't hurt or itch. I just feel them and know that they are there.

Members explored possible causes for small bumps appearing on the cheeks after a diabetes diagnosis, with suggestions ranging from skin tags (a condition associated with diabetes), rosacea that may resolve once blood sugar is controlled, and gluten intolerance from wheat consumption. Several members shared personal experiences, including one whose rosacea cleared up after achieving stable blood sugar levels and another whose nephew discovered a gluten sensitivity through similar symptoms. A recurring theme was the importance of consulting a dermatologist for proper diagnosis while also considering dietary changes like going gluten-free or eliminating dairy to see if symptoms improve.

@A DiabetesTeam Member! I've lived with those marble size bumps for years. Was @ some point worried they could be cancerous. Requested blood test & was relieved to know they just "Cellulite",. Not painful nor itching. They come & go. They confined to my upper arms & thighs. Only I know they there, they not visible to others. You the 1st person I've come across having these.

Could be a gluten intolerance. From eating wheat. Try gluten free products. Just keep them in fridge to keep longer for bread. See if they go away.

It is not skin tags. My cheeks are not red. Could possibly be acne which I had before. Maybe when I have my blood sugar under control it will go away.
