My legs cramp all over all at once and tonight it got so bad that I was crying and screaming with the pain what can I do to get some relief

My husband use to get leg cramps constantly -he is also type 2 - he uses magnesium tablets from super market - he use to take two a day morning and night. ( about a year) now he takes 1 every other day but if we have a round a golf that night he will take two. Drink lots of water

I've been using magnesium for over a year now for the same reason. two tablets to begin with but have reduced it to one like Stella's hubby above, works great.

try schweppes tonic water with quinine helps to replace lost sodium

Suffered for years, the lack/lost of element potassium is the core issue. Drink lots of water and get some "legatrim" OTC
