Members shared their frustrations about reduced test strip prescriptions, with many experiencing cuts from two boxes monthly to just one, forcing them to either test less frequently or purchase additional supplies out of pocket at places like Walmart. Several members offered practical solutions, including asking their doctor to increase the prescription quantity directly, contacting their pharmacy to clarify whether the reduction came from the manufacturer or insurance, and advocating firmly with their GP by explaining their actual testing frequency and medical need. A recurring theme was the community's collective frustration that cost-cutting measures undermine diabetes management, with members agreeing that regular testing is essential for staying healthy and that rationing strips is ultimately a false economy.

How often do u check your blood. Ask your Dr to write a script for 2x the amount. They have to fill it

It is good to keep up regular checks. The expense could be worrying for some
