I am using Byetta two times a day (10mg/ml). I am also using Duromine to surpress appetite. But First dr told me to take the Byetta within an hour AFTER meals, I later on read it should be taken BEFORE eating. I am now taking it before meals. But get so nauseus that I sometimes cant eat more than two spoonfulls. Am struggling to eat snacks inbetween meals. Am drinking more water - some days up to 2litres. Other days not so much... Byetta: perhaps the missing element is "exercise"...can be as simple as walking....believe me it works for weight loss if done on a regular basis
I am on beyetta twice a day and my weight is stable. What my doctors had me do is take it about 15 minutes before my meals to start because it can cause nasuea. Then start taking it further apart as i got used to it. There are some days i still take it just before i eat because i forgot to take it earlier. I also noticed i get nauseaus when i am hungry.
Weight loss is fewer calories in than calories you use. I need to lose some weight but first i am trying to get what i can eat under control then i will work more on weight. My current goal is not to gain weight.
It will take time nothing is accomplished overnight. There is plenty of support on this site.
Bayeta is taken before you eat and is usually good for loosing some extra pounds . Good luck. Check out the warnings on Bayeta on Google. My doctor took me off of it.
