A while ago I was trying to find a backup meter and found several online. The price of strips was important as I would be paying out of pocket. And both meters had very good customer reviews. My ins sponsored meter is a Freestyle Lite and has an excellent reputation according to the consumer report type comparisons. Neither of the meters I purchased gave me accurate readings, one being 20-30 pts higher and the other 20-30 pts lower than the Freestyle. So now I have a Prodigy and True Result meter that are pretty much worthless to me. Lesson learned, not wasting any more money.

WOW, you will get different readings even by checking a different finger but I would not think that much. Have you done a control check with either?
